Why I Built This Site
When I first arrived in Japan, I quickly realized how difficult it was to find clear, practical information in English about everyday life here — things like how to update your Residence Card address, where to go if you lose your Zairyu Card, how to sort your garbage correctly, or how to apply for a part-time job at a convenience store.
Most websites either explained things in Japanese only, or gave vague answers that didn't match reality on the ground. I made many mistakes myself — and spent hours at ward offices, immigration counters, and language schools figuring things out the hard way.
Through my work at a Japanese language school in Osaka, I help dozens of foreign students every week with exactly these kinds of problems — writing documents, translating notices, guiding them through immigration procedures, and explaining Japanese rules and customs. JPN Easy is an extension of that work. I write what I actually teach and explain every day.
